Wellness Check

What is A Wellness Check?

Many of us will have had the experience in our lives of going to see a doctor for a general check up. It’s an opportunity to catch up with a medical specialist, see how our body is doing and help identify anything we could improve and the methods to do so. The Oak Tree Practice’s ‘Wellness Check’ is our version of just that.

Just as we routinely care for our physical health, it’s important that we do the same for our mental wellbeing. As part of our “Wellness Check”, you will get the opportunity to meet with a psychologist to consider how your life is progressing, your strengths and achievements, as well as areas you’d like to improve and ways you might go about that.

Whether it’s for a child going through school, someone thinking about their next move in life, or an individual who wants the opportunity to think about how things are going with a fully qualified psychologist, the Wellness Check provides an opportunity to do just that.

How Does A Wellness Check Work?

Book in for a single 50 minute consultation with one of our psychologists to arrange a well being check.

The next step is to get to know you a bit better. We will ask about what is difficult for you, your strengths, and if there is anything important we should know about the difficulties you are experiencing.

At the end of the appointment, you will be able to decide together whether this has met your needs or if you require additional consultations.
