Frequently Asked Questions About Problems We Can Help With
Can You Help Me Address Multiple Issues?
Yes, you can come to us with a wide range of issues. This includes feeling anxious, facing trauma, having a low mood or dealing with significant life events. Our experts will work with you to understand the difficulties your facing, how the problems came about and the best ways to start tackling them.
Will My Appointment Be Covered By Insurance?
Lots of our team offer health insurance coverage. Providers included Aviva, AXA Health, BUPA, Cigna, Vitality Health, WPA and more. Just make sure that you confirm this with your psychologist before getting started.
Will The Session Be Confidential?
Our therapists will not discuss the details of your session without your consent. Breaking your confidentiality would only be considered in extreme circumstances if your therapist believes that you may be at risk of harming yourself or someone else, or if another person is of harm to you or someone else. In this case, our therapist would try to discuss the situation with you first but may need to contact your GP or emergency services if necessary.
Do I Have To Have An In-Person Session?
No you do not have to. We do offer face to face sessions in Finchley (N3 2JU), Brixton/Clapham (SW2 5UL) and Hackney (E2 9FN), as well as home visits. However, we also conduct online sessions via zoom or you can call us for a 15 minute free consultation to see if we can help.
What If I Don't Know How I'm Feeling?
Do not worry if you are feeling overwhelmed or uncertain about your feelings. It is not unusual to feel like “something is not quite right”. Our professionals will work with you to identify what is making you feel this way, empower you with useful techniques and help you to move forward.
How Many Sessions Do I Need?
After your initial consultation, the expert will recommend a certain number of sessions that they believe will benefit you, whether that be 1 appointment, 2 or 10. You can then decide if you would like to go ahead with this and whether you are comfortable to proceed.
