How To Get Private Assessments For ADHD And Autism In 3 Simple Steps
Step 1: Initial Consultation
A clinician will ask you a range of questions about what has led to you choosing to undertake an assessment and about your experiences. This is also a chance for us to explain the different parts of the assessment and make sure it is the right choice for you. You will also have an opportunity to ask questions.
Step 2: Assessment & Questionaire
We will meet with you for around an hour and ask about what is difficult for you, your strengths, and if there is anything important we should know about the difficulties you are experiencing. This will help us to determine your diagnosis.
Step 3: Results & Feedback
Feedback will be provided in a one-hour session. This is when it will be discussed with you whether the assessment indicated a diagnosis of ADHD or Autism. You may find it helpful for a friend, family member or partner to join you for this appointment.
