Hi! I’m Hanna and I'm a Psychotherapist.
What will it be like when I meet you?
I welcome any and all clients into a nurturing space for their internal exploration and healing. I hold no judgements or expectations, and intentionally create a warm and safe environment for you to confront challenges at a pace that feels comfortable for you. You will be reminded that these sessions are held and personally catered with your personal experiences and goals in mind. I hope to support you as you strengthen and connect to the love, compassion and patience you have for yourself and others.
How do you approach therapy and what kind of difficulties do you help people with?
I approach therapy from a holistic standpoint, where your mind, body, and energetic selves are equally considered. I incorporate a variety of approaches during my sessions, consistently tailoring sessions to suit your needs. Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Family therapy and Somatic Therapy are some of the main approaches I incorporate during sessions. These therapies can support you moving through anxiety, low-mood and low-self esteem, the loss of a loved one, anger, trauma, stress and relationship difficulties.
My experience as a yoga instructor has also developed my interest in the way trauma is stored in our bodies. My approach is therefore rooted in the mind and body connection, and will encourage the experience of safety within your nervous system and physical self.
What are you interests outside of psychology?
Movement and Laughter! Exercising, strengthening, and moving my muscles helps me feel my best. Some of my favourite ways to move are through practicing yoga and pilates. I enjoy the sense of community that work-out studios create, and I especially love exercising with family and friends - that way you never struggle through a workout alone!
